What's So Funny?

This joke is funny because a "tie" is something that is worn when one is trying to look nice. For example, you would wear a tie to a nice restaurant. 

"Thai" is what we call someone from Thailand. Therefore, it is funny that the culturally diverse group cannot get in to the resturant without a "Thai."
